What is Answer Plot?​

The Answer Plot at Centra Sota’s Santiago location offers a first-hand look at how different products and techniques impact the crop. We also feature a section focused on technology and innovation. This is a perfect opportunity for students interested in learning more about a career in agriculture. ​

You’ll find a variety of vendors, equipment, and information from experts on a variety of topics including equipment conservation practices, cover crops, and more. You’ll have time to visit 4 of the 6 stations, so pick the ones most important to you! You can choose to start at any station, then rotate to your other chosen stations.

STATION TOPICS

Finance: Financing options that Centra Sota has to offer including 0% and how you can qualify.
Equipment: Equipment discussion including strip tilling, precision planting, and drone technology.
Soil Fertility: Maximizing efficiency with grid sampling, placement, timing, and type of fertilizer.
Seed: Learn about what fits best on your farm from multiple company and trait offerings.
Biologicals: What are they?  How do they work? How do they provide value on my farm?
Adjuvants: What’s the hype about?  How and why to use them to maximize your spray effectiveness.
Conservation: Learn about programs, procedures, and offerings that are available through Centra Sota and paired with your local office.
