-
60-75 degrees - 30 minutes per zone every other day
-
75 degrees or warmer - 30 minutes daily
How soon should I mow my yard after spraying?

Do you provide mowing or spring/fall clean-up services?

Do you spray for mosquitos, ticks, ants, or ant hills?
We don't spray for mosquitos or ticks but we have a business recommendation that does. Call us for additional information. For ant control or ant-hill issues, you'll want to contact a pest control company.
When does lawn care season begin? How long between visits/applications?
Our services are dependent on Mother Nature. We hope to begin our season each year around April 1st (as soon as the frost is gone from the ground). Our visits are roughly 4-6 weeks apart, weather permitting. Weather conditions do play a factor in applying products. Rain, wind speed, drought, and heat will factor in application timing. In some cases, these factors may cause delays until favorable weather allows us to proceed.
Can you tell me what I signed up for last year, so I know what to choose for this year?
Yes! We’d be happy to assist you, just send us an email or a phone message and we will look up last season’s package to assist you. If it’s been a few years since you last served with us , our packages have changed but our products remain the highest quality.

Can I be contacted BEFORE you come out to do service?
Yes, be sure to check the box on your lawn care contract for “Text notice of service” and we will notify you BEFORE each lawn service by text. Or call our office so we can note your preference on account for you.

How soon can I seed my yard after crabgrass and / or weed spray was applied ?
You may seed your lawn after 90 days of first initial application and/or 30 days if weed control was used. **Both can be voided if you use ½ inch of black dirt before seeding**

My yard was just sprayed today and now it’s raining. Will this affect the application and results?
Our spray is concentrated and requires at least 2 hours to absorb to do its magic. If it rained prior to spraying your lawn it should still be effective. If it rains within 2 hours after application, then give us a call right away and we will come out in the coming days to assess your lawn and reapply product if necessary. ( Your lawn sign will have a time stamp of when our applicator applied the product for reference)

Should my lawn be sprayed when it’s this windy, hot, or dry?
Our expert Lawn Applicators assess weather conditions daily before applying product and will use their best discretion. We want to do what is best for your lawn. If the weather isn’t cooperating, we will let you know and proceed when conditions are more favorable.

Do you have any products that combat Quackgrass? (not to be confused with Crabgrass)
Quackgrass’s strong deep rooted system gives it staying power. When split into pieces, that same root system sprouts easily into new plants and spreads. There isn’t an herbicide that will kill the Quackgrass without hurting your surrounding turf. Round-Up is your best defense to eradicate it from your yard. Give us a call for a quote on cost as we may need to assess the areas affected.

What steps need to be taken to prepare for aeration and/or aeration with overseed?
Before CLC comes out to do an aeration or aeration/overseed, it is best to prepare your yard by removing any debris. Please mark or flag all sprinkler heads in advance if you have a sprinkler system. Once seeding is complete, you’ll want to water the newly seeded area consistently to promote germination. It's also best to avoid heavy foot traffic for a few weeks and any weed spray for at least 6 weeks after seeding.
