Dale Mausehund Memorial Scholarship
Annually, Centra Sota Cooperative funds the Dale Mausehund Memorial Scholarship. Dale, a former team member passed away after a courageous battle with cancer in April 2012. Dale was a seasoned Agronomist and was very passionate about his work in agriculture. Each year we fund a $500 scholarship for an Eden Valley- Watkins high school senior student pursuing a college education in agriculture (or a related field).To learn more, please contact mhughes@centrasota.com.
Nick Stodolka Memorial Scholarship
Centra Sota Cooperative funds the Nick Stodolka Memorial Scholarship each year. Nick, a former team member passed away unexpectedly doing what he loved, hunting with family on the family farm. At the young age of 26, Nick was a dedicated employee who took great pride in his job as an agronomy applicator for the Cooperative. Each year we fund a $500 scholarship for an Albany or Holdingford high school senior who is pursuing a college education in agriculture (or a related field). Kenny Beehler Memorial Scholarship
Centra Sota Cooperative is also pleased to fund the Kenny Beehler Memorial Scholarship. Kenny worked at Centra Sota Cooperative for 35 years as Operations Manager and truly loved his job in Agronomy. Kenny passed away in 2021 after a courageous battle with Kidney cancer. He was heavily involved in various sports, FFA, 4-H and many other community events. This scholarship was established to support Foley students pursuing an education in the Agronomy field or Trade schools. To learn more, please contact mhughes@centrasota.com.

America's Farmers Grow Ag Leaders
America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders, sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, encourages rural youth to remain in agriculture and provides $1,500 college scholarship to support their education. This year, more than $500,000 in scholarships was awarded to students across the country. More scholarships will be available in 2016. Starting this November, students can apply online at FFA.org/scholarships. The National FFA Organization administers the program, but you do not have to be an FFA member to apply. Sallstrom Scholarship
The Sallstrom Scholarship is offered each year by the MCPR Board of Directors. Each year they award a $1,000 scholarship to a student at our annual CPM Short Course and MCPR Trade Show at the Minneapolis Convention Center. To be eligible, the applicant must be a student entering their second, third, or fourth year of a four-year institution of higher learning or, the second year of a two-year institution of higher learning AND must be a Minnesota resident. Nufarm Grassman Scholarship
The Nufarm Grassmanship Scholarship program awards one $5,000 and four $1,000 scholarships to current and incoming college students pursuing a degree in agriculture. Learn more about the Grassmanship Scholarship Program.
Careers in Agriculture Scholarship Program
The Careers in Agriculture Scholarship Program is offered by WinField United.
Scholarships worth $5,000 will be awarded to 4 college students who demonstrate scholastic achievement, leadership in agriculture and a perceived ability to contribute to agriculture in the future.
The Careers in Agriculture Scholarship Program is available to freshmen, sophomore or junior college students pursuing two- or four-year degrees in an agriculture related field.
To qualify for the program, a student must:

Be a college freshman, sophomore or junior

Be pursuing a two- or four-year degree in or related to agronomy, crop and weed science, soil science, genetics, ag technology, ag business or ag communications
-
Have work experience related to the degree (family farm work, internships, summer jobs, volunteer work, etc. would all apply).

Not be a dependent of anyone employed by WinField United or Land O’Lakes, Inc.

Not be a previous recipient of any scholarship administered by Land O’Lakes, Inc.

Since its formation, the Careers in Agriculture Scholarship Program have awarded more than $500,000 to young adults who share the same commitment to agronomy, excellence and the cooperative system.
