Wolftrax- A Better Way to Apply Micronutrients

Zinc is a key component of several plant enzyme systems, including growth hormone production. It’s also required for chlorophyll synthesis and carbohydrate formation. Zinc is a key nutrient if you are looking for bin busting yields. It is best to feed zinc to corn plants in small applications throughout the year.

Zinc application options are very limited. It is often included with starter fertilizer, post herbicide applications and spring fertilizer applications.

When zinc is applied with macronutrients there are hundreds of pounds of Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium to only a few pounds of zinc. This can cause uneven distribution of this important micronutrient. Dry fertilizer application that includes zinc and macronutrients can be thought of like a birthday cake. The macronutrients are the frosting, while the zinc is represented as candles. The macronutrients (frosting) is evently distributed over the field (cake) while the zinc (candles) are unevenly concentrated to a few spots

Wolftrax zinc with allow your zinc application to be evenly spaced throughout your field. This is because Wolftrax is a fine powder that coats the other fertilizer granules in your blend. This results in a much more even distribution of zinc as it gets to all of the places that your other fertilizer does. Not only does it spread more efficiently, but it also provides both soluble and non-soluble forms on zinc, allowing one application to feed your plants longer.

Wolftrax also offers boron. Boron is essential for nitrogen (N) metabolism, and optimal flowering and fruiting. It increases cell division and differentiation, nodulation health in legumes, and the movement of sugars and carbohydrates in the plant. Boron is very important for alfalfa as well as young corn plants, but Boron application has the same downfall as zinc. Spreading and application can be uneven and inconsistent. Wolftrax solves this problem.
