Our Sauk Centre Country Store selected their local food shelf - Sauk Centre Food Shelf - for their donation. The Sauk Centre Food Shelf provides food to local residents who need a little extra assistance to get through the month. According to Second Harvest Heartland, in 2021, 1 in 6 Minnesotans – including 1 in 11 Minnesota kids - didn’t know where their next meal would come from. Donations from local businesses and the community help to alleviate financial stress on both the food shelf and the recipients. Stores in the area such as Wal-Mart and Coborn’s donate perishable items weekly to help meet these needs. We’re proud to lend our support to such a great organization and cause!
